By Public Transport

• Train: Alight at NS-station Roermond (Roermond national railway station); the location is within walking distance.
• Bus: You can take Arriva line 2 from Roermond (station) to Herten (Hoofdstraat). Other buses in Roermond include line 68.
• Tram: There is no tram connection in Roermond. (Public transport in Roermond is primarily served by buses and trains, no tram network according to current public transport maps). Always check the current times via HTM.

• Bring a valid ID and a suitable lesson vehicle; in almost all cases, your driving school will arrange this. Legally, you may bring a different car if it meets all the stated requirements; you can find these vehicle requirements via the CBR.

Tips for Exam Day at CBR Roermond

• Arrive at least 15 minutes in advance.
• Bring a valid ID (no copies).
• Make sure you have your reservation number with you (see email from the CBR).
• Theory Exam: No phones, bags, or notes allowed (free lockers available).
• Practical Exam: Your car must comply with CBR requirements (including dual controls, clean interior).

Inside the Exam Centre at CBR Roermond

• Upon arrival, check in at the white registration terminal using your reservation number (found in the CBR email). When you enter, you must take the stairs to the first floor. At the top of the stairs, walk down the hallway.
• Wait in the waiting area and keep an eye on the screens. They show your reservation number and the status of your exam. "Aangemeld" (Registered) means you have successfully checked in and can be called up. "Spullen in de locker" (Items in the locker) means it is almost your turn. Only at this point do you store all your belongings (except your ID) in a locker. Remember the code you use to lock your locker and remember your locker number. "Ga naar start examen" (Go to start exam) means it's your turn. You can calmly report to the white desk where the CBR employees are sitting behind.
• First, you must report to security, who will use a handheld scanner to check that you are not carrying any equipment. You then report to the CBR employee behind the "Start examen" desk, who will check your identification. You will also be assigned your table number here. If you are sensitive to sound distraction, you can grab earplugs.
• You then walk into the examination room and take a seat behind a screen with the correct table number. Place your ID on the table and enter your reservation number on the screen. Check that your email address is correct, and when you are truly ready, choose "Start". Your exam will then begin, so follow the instructions on the screen.
• Finally, you are finished with all the questions and submit your exam. You will immediately see your result on your screen. A thumb icon shows whether you have passed or failed. You will also see the number of mistakes you made.
• You can then leave the examination room. Take your belongings out of the locker and await the email from the CBR. Your result will also be included in this. Once you have received this, you can go home.
