Our experience shows that anyone who speaks Dutch well and pays close attention passes the exam on the same day. We can’t guarantee you’ll pass, because the one thing we can’t do is assist you during the exam itself by entering the correct answers. What we can promise is to prepare you optimally to succeed.

The course material is explained in a clear and effective way, with plenty of repetition. Still, it doesn’t hurt to prepare yourself well beforehand, as the knowledge you already have will make it easier to understand the material.

We therefore recommend that you thoroughly review the digital course materials on our website in advance to increase your chances of passing on the first try. You’ll gain access to these materials as soon as your deposit has been paid.

Nutheorie books your theory exam as soon as it becomes available at the CBR, so you can truly pass in one day. After you sign up, all you need to do is authorize us once, and we’ll take care of the rest. This authorization is required by the CBR for all theory exams. Don’t worry: authorizing is easier than it sounds. Once you’ve registered with us, you’ll receive step-by-step instructions on how to complete it.

If an exam is not immediately available after your registration, our entire team monitors CBR exam availability closely. We’ll be ready to book your preferred date, or the closest alternative, as soon as it opens up. Sometimes exams are only available through MijnCBR; in that case, we’ll notify you by email so you can book the exam yourself right away.

Keep an eye on your email for course information, and be sure to arrive on time with a valid ID on the day of your course.

No problem! You can simply indicate this on the registration form. Of course, you won’t have to pay any exam fees to us. We run multiple courses daily in 24 cities across the Netherlands, so there’s always a course location near you. We’ll schedule your theory course as close as possible to your exam date.

The regular price for the theory course and the CBR theory exam is €179. Currently, there’s a special offer reducing this to €99. This price excludes the €48.75 CBR exam fee if you haven’t booked your exam yet (we charge the exact CBR fees). The discount applies on the day you register. So if you sign up during the promotion period, you can attend the course even after the promotion ends and still benefit from the discounted price.

The dates you provide are your preferred dates. If an exam is available on your preferred date, we will book it immediately. That’s why we ask you to select multiple dates so we can accommodate your preferences as much as possible.

Due to the high demand at the CBR, changes to your course and exam dates may occur. This means it’s quite possible you will be scheduled outside your preferred dates. We do this to avoid long waiting times of several months for your exam.

Once we have reserved an exam and course spot for you, we will send you an email with all the details and the final payment request. Until you receive this email, no date is confirmed.

Please note that for exams, we are always dependent on the CBR. This applies not only to us but to all companies and individuals in the Netherlands who want to book an exam.

The course usually starts around 7:15 AM, and the CBR theory exams begin around 2:00 PM. Depending on the location and date, these times may vary slightly. However, the exact schedule will be included in the information email you will receive no later than one week before the course starts.

The entire course day finishes around 3:30 PM. There are plenty of breaks throughout the day.

The theory course is offered at various locations near the CBR, with easy access to public transport taken into account. The exact course location, as well as the precise times, will be shared with you in the information email you’ll receive no later than one week before the course date.

From the day you pass your CBR theory exam, your theory certificate is valid for 1.5 years to obtain your driver’s license. Your driving instructor can book your practical exam with the CBR just a few hours after you’ve completed your theory test.

Our tip: don’t delay your driving lessons, keep the momentum going. It would be a shame to let your theory certificate expire.
